Heartworm & Wellness Testing April to July 2015

Like all of us, your pet’s health will change as he or she ages.  Pets age more rapidly than humans, meaning that health changes can happen quickly, and they have no voice to tell us when things are not right.  Just as your doctor would recommend for you, annual Wellness Screening can be an important tool in the early detection and therefore, treatment of disease.   In fact 10% of pets that appear healthy to owners have been found to have an underlying condition.  Also, testing annually gives us a baseline for the future.  This allows us to refer to previous ‘healthy’ records, and helps us to know when something is wrong.

Since we will draw a small blood sample from your pet in order to perform a heartworm test, this makes it the ideal time to perform your pet’s Annual Wellness Blood Screen.  We can use the same sample for both tests, meaning less stress and discomfort for your pet. There are several types of Wellness Screening we recommend based on your pet’s age and previous history.  Until July 30th we are offering wellness testing with heartworm tests and prevention at the discounted prices listed below.
