Saying Farewell to Dr. Elaine Williams

Clappison Animal Hospital is proud and sad to say goodbye to one of our vets this month. Dr. Elaine Williams will be moving to England to start a new chapter in her life. She has been an extraordinary part of our veterinary team. Dr. Elaine has always put the needs of a patient first and foremost in her actions. Her compassion was obvious. She has made lasting contributions to the clinic, staff and clients. We will miss her very much. Some highlights & things we will remember about on Dr. Elaine Williams:

  • Dr. Elaine Williams graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2009.
  • She spent a year practicing small animal medicine in downtown Toronto before joining the team at Clappison Animal Hospital in 2010. She is especially interested in pain management & anesthesia, oncology and ophthalmology.
  • She has 2 cats, Chase and Kiara, and a golden retriever, Brigadier. If she’s not at the creek walking Brigs with her husband, she’s on the trails riding her horse, Jake.
  • In what’s left of her spare time she enjoys participating in fundraising events like Mud Hero for the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, and the Relay for Life for the Canadian Cancer Society.

Good luck and hope to see you again soon Dr. Williams!
