Adult Training Classes:
Adult classes are for dogs 6 months and older. The classes are twice a week, 1- 1/2 hours long. Everyone in the family is welcome to attend. All our training is done in different locations every time. This is because we want to see your dog at his or her worst. The class fee is $500.00.
Your dog must also have a martingale collar and 6 foot leash. We do sell Brad Pattison's collars and leashes which are considered to be the best quality, however you can purchase them at a pet store as well. Our collars and leashes are $25 each. Carrie always brings a large selection with me everywhere and will have them available at class.
To register, we do need a deposit of $250 before class begins. This is the only way you can get your spot reserved. The balance will need to be paid on the first day of training. There are a few ways to pay:
Calling at the clinic 905-689-8005 to pay by credit card.
Mail a cheque made out to : Clappison Veterinary Services
Drop in the clinic and pay cash/debit.
Here are the dates classes will start:
Monday/Thursday class starting Monday, April 12 from 7:00pm-8:30pm
Saturday/Wednesday class starting Saturday, April 10 at 1:00-2:30pm. Wed will be at 7:00-8:30pm
Tuesday/Friday class starting Tuesday, April 13 from 7:00-8:30pm
Please specify which class you would like when you call in your deposit. I will confirm with an email that you have the spot and the location of where to be the first day.
Our training classes offer much more than Sit, Stay and Come. We expose you and your dog to REAL LIFE situations. Within these classes, you are given the tools necessary to manage your dog on and off lead, establish your alpha role in your dog’s life, create a true bond between you and your dog; all without the use of treats or other masking tools.
