Veterinary Technician
Since a very young age, I have had a passion for all living things. Growing up, I had many pets ranging from dogs to frogs, and everything in between. I knew I wanted a career in the animal sciences, studying and working with animals. I graduated in 2017 from Northern College with honours, as a veterinary technician. I completed a month-long Co-op at Clappison Animal Hospital in January 2017, and was lucky enough to join the team full time in April! An area of the veterinary industry that interests me, is nutrition and exotic animals. What I love most about my job is seeing a happy healthy pet walk out the door. My favourite thing about the clinic is the fun and friendly atmosphere, as well as our two clinic cats Rocky & Roomba! My first pet was a rabbit named Thumper.
