Cat Flea and Tick Control

What are fleas?

Fleas are tiny blood-sucking parasites, they are obtained from the environment of the cat. Once on the cat, they happily go to work feeding and laying eggs, which increases the problem quickly.

How do fleas harm the cats?

Biting by the fleas tends to irritate the skin, some cats are allergic to the saliva and become excessively itchy. In addition, cats will groom out and swallow fleas, which can then lead to intestinal tapeworms.

Why is treating and preventing fleas important?

Aside from the obvious skin irritation, flea bites and allergy can be a source of stress for some cats. This can lead to behavioural issues in some cases.
