Dr. Erica Gernon

Ever since Dr. Erica was a little girl, she has always had a love for animals and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. She grew up with numerous amazing cats throughout the years, along with one very special Portuguese Water Dog named Abby. Now, she can’t imagine a home without pets and is grateful to work with them every day.

Dr. Erica was born in Mississauga and eventually moved to Oakville for high school. She attended the University of Guelph for a degree in Biological Science with a minor in Zoology and went on to graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College. She now lives in downtown Toronto with her three orange cats, Leo, Calvin and Flynn, who she loves dearly. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cottaging and travelling
