Clappison Animal Hospital is proud and sad to say goodbye to one of our vets this month. Dr. Elaine Williams will be moving to England to start a new chapter in her life. She has been an extraordinary part of our veterinary team. Dr. Elaine has always put the needs of a patient first and foremost in her actions. Her compassion was obvious. She has made lasting contributions to the clinic, staff and clients. We will miss her very much. Some highlights & things we will remember about on Dr. Elaine Williams:
- Dr. Elaine Williams graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2009.
- She spent a year practicing small animal medicine in downtown Toronto before joining the team at Clappison Animal Hospital in 2010. She is especially interested in pain management & anesthesia, oncology and ophthalmology.
- She has 2 cats, Chase and Kiara, and a golden retriever, Brigadier. If she’s not at the creek walking Brigs with her husband, she’s on the trails riding her horse, Jake.
- In what’s left of her spare time she enjoys participating in fundraising events like Mud Hero for the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, and the Relay for Life for the Canadian Cancer Society.
