With our crazy Canadian winter this year with the temperatures going up and down, we thought we send out a reminder that ticks are out there with temperatures as low as 4 degrees.
Here are some of the most common ticks we see in our area:
- Deer Tick or Western Black-Legged Tick
- The Lone Star Tick
- American Dog Tick
- Brown Dog Tick
Keep an eye out for these pesky friends when out walking your dog. When getting home after a walk, take the time to run a comb or a lint roller over your dog, to make sure no tick has hitched a ride home on your family member.
