Alexa J.

Residing in Burlington, Alexa grew up wanting to have a career dedicated to helping animals. Her first beloved pets were two guinea pigs, Bubbles and Scampers. She took any opportunity she could to branch out into the field she loves now.

When she was 14, she started her journey at the Oakville and Milton Humane Society where she completed an internship. Little did she know she would meet her first fur baby there! She took home Jello, her handsome longhair dilute calico! In the summer of 2018 she got a summer job working with OMHS’ RVTs while finishing tech school.

In 2019, Alexa graduated with honours from the Veterinary Technician program at University of Guelph’s Ridgetown Campus. Graduating alongside her, is her full grey fuzz ball, Seymour! She originally came to NOAH through her senior year externship and joined our team full time once she graduated.

At NOAH, Alexa has become a certified nutrition advocate and has a deep love for helping patients with their specific nutritional needs! She also has a HUGE passion for animal dentistry and hopes to specialize in the future!

When outside of the clinic, she enjoys a variety of activities! She has a huge love of horror video games and books. She also loves staying active in any way she can, wether it’s in the gym, going biking or going on hikes.
