Ashleigh Q.

Born and raised in Stoney Creek, Ashleigh came to NOAH in 2011 after working in both general and emergency practices in Hamilton and the GTA. She graduated in 2007 from the Veterinary Technician program at the University of Guelph’s Ridgetown Campus and received her General Arts and Science Diploma from Mohawk College in 2005. She has a special interest in dentistry as well as the up and coming medical innovations with CBD in veterinary care.

She comes from an animal-loving family, and her inspiration to make animal health care her career came from saving Sandy, a kitten with an eye problem she found while camping as a child. When Ashleigh was in Grade 6, her best friend Sandy developed problems chewing and she was later diagnosed with leukemia. It was then Ashleigh decided that she would work in the veterinary industry one day and maybe even cure kitty cancer!

Today, she shares her life with her partner, her cat, Purrogi and an adorable Shih Poo mix, Maddie. Ashleigh used to be an avid traveler which she hopes one day she will be able to do once again. When she’s not working, Ashleigh spends her free time helping her partner with his new home renovation business and checking out the foodie scene in Hamilton.
