Melissa Johnson

After living in Southern Georgia for over a decade, Melissa moved back to the GTHA in 2012. Melissa shares a wealth of knowledge in different areas and is always eager to help anyone in need. She is excited to be a member of NOAH, joining our team in November 2021.

Melissa comes to us with a background in nursing and also has experience working in an extremely busy, emergency Animal hospital. She has always had a love for all animals, big or small, and has volunteered for animal shelters in Canada and the US. Melissa has also taken in a few strays over the years and provided foster care for many fur/feathered babies as well.
After working tirelessly keeping multiple hospitals, vaccination clinics, and rapid testing sites staffed throughout the pandemic, she made the decision to come back to the Veterinary realm.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, (including her two rescues- a Husky mix and Kentucky Bloodhound) horseback riding, and spending time at her friend’s hobby farm. Melissa is also an amateur photographer and does skincare/cosmetic consulting as well. She looks forward to getting to know our clients and patients.
